  • 24/7 assistance
    Your electric bike’s battery ran down faster than expected or you had a puncture on the road? You don’t have to push your bike all the way home!

If you have trouble on the road (accident, puncture, battery, theft, etc.), we will send you a tow truck that will take you and your bike back home or to a repair shop.

  • Protection against theft
    You went for a drink, and although you locked your bike properly it’s been stolen? We refund its full value minus the excess. We also pay for your taxi home (up to €500).

Your bike is covered day and night both indoors and outdoors as long as it is secured to a fixed point with an approved lock (see list of exclusions).

To keep the insurance price cheap, we add a 10% excess of the value of the bike (min 50€ and max 200€), so you will only pay 200€ for a brand new bike worth 3000€. We do not apply any depreciation for 3 years, which means that we will always take your purchase price as a reference. Unlike most of our competitors, your bike will therefore not lose any value, even after 3 years. We only deduct the deductible.

  • Protection against material damage
    We pay in full for repairs to your bike further to material damage caused by an accident, vandalism, flood, fire (e.g. battery) and other external events if the amount exceeds the excess.

We know you and your bike go together everywhere, this is why we will reimburse you, on the basis of the receipts, the cost of hiring a replacement bike, up to a maximum of 15 EUR including all taxes per day and for a maximum of 3 consecutive days.

The amount of the excess = 10% of the total purchase value of your bike (min 50€ and max 200€).

Exclusions from the coverage

Find below the list of exclusions. If you would like more details or clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us, we will be happy to answer you.

  • The bike must be locked with an approved lock either ABUS BORDO (security 10 or higher), ART (category 2 or higher), FUB (2 wheels or higher), or Sold Secure Silver (or Gold) and must have been attached to a fixed point during it's theft.

  • Wheels, tires or the electric battery are not covered if they were stolen separately from the bike.

  • Aesthetic damage (scratches, dents, ...) is not covered.

  • Damage resulting from participation in a bike race is not covered.

Eligibility rules

In order to be eligible for compensation in the event of an incident, you must comply with a few rules listed below. If you would like more details or clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us, we will be happy to answer you.

For a second-hand bike, you must:

  • Send us 5 photos (front, rear, left side, right side, serial number) of the insured bike within 14 days of taking out your insurance policy ;

  • Provide us with the serial number;

    If you fail to do so, we will cancel your insurance contract and refund the insurance premium paid;

For a new bike purchased more than 30 days ago, you must:

  • Send us 5 photos (front, rear, left side, right side, serial number) of the insured bike within 14 days of the start date of your insurance policy ;

  • Provide us with the serial number within 14 days of the start date of your insurance contract;

    If You do not do so, we will cancel your insurance contract and refund the insurance premium paid;

For a new bike purchased less than 30 days ago, you must:

  • Provide us with the serial number within 14 days of the start date of your insurance contract;

    If you fail to do so, we will cancel your insurance contract and refund the insurance premium paid;

What to do in the event of a claim

Need assistance on the road?

In case of problems on the road (accident, puncture, battery, theft, ...), call directly 0 9 78 46 61 24. We will send you a tow truck that will take you and your bike back home or to a repair shop.

Your bike has been stolen?

You must report the incident to the police within 48 hours and report the claim online (this takes less than 5 min).

Is your bike damaged?

You must report the claim online within 8 days of discovering the damage.

Whether your bike is stolen or damaged, our experts will process your claim as soon as possible in order to calculate the compensation you are entitled to receive. You can relax, it will be quick.

Do you already have a bike insurance with another provider?

You can take out your annual insurance policy today with a start date up to 6 months later and therefore plan to start your "Qover" policy the day after the expiry date of your current policy.

In any case, don't forget to notify your insurer of your wish to cancel your contract at least 2 months before the anniversary date of your contract.

How to cancel your contract?

You can cancel the insurance contract on the main expiry date. To do so, you must notify us in writing at least 2 months before the main due date.

You can terminate the insurance contract if we change the tariff or the general terms and conditions.

After a claim, you have one month from the date of payment or refusal of compensation to terminate the contract.

You may cancel the contract within 14 days of receiving the policy schedule and the general terms and conditions without giving any reason.
